A favorite recent memory: Driving through D.C. on our 31-day road trip summer of 2009. We planned to stay with Kristen and Aaron. Kristen made a call to Suzette and set up dinner. Then to our surprise, Barrie and Jan arrived for a visit the same evening. A somewhat impromptu family reunion around lasagna and French breach. We enjoyed catching up with Suzette and hearing about her new life in the nation's capital. We always appreciate the quick visits around the country we make with Suzette. This time it was us stopping in to see her; just before her move, she came through Arizona and we were able to spend some time visiting. We can always count on Suzette to be there for formal family reunions. And, I marvel at how she remembers our birthdays with cards and email every year. Thanks for keeping in touch. We appreciate you in our lives!
