Suzette came into the ward and instantly made an impression on me - and many others. She was so self confident, friendly, helpful and got called into the RS presidency I think upon her first Sunday in church! Okay, maybe it was her second...but it was darn fast. She's been an integral part of how our ward operates ever since. But on a personal level, she's taken time to send me and my husband very, very thoughtful cards - specifying instances where comments or lessons had touched her. Such a rare thing to receive a personal note like that. It created a soft-spot in both our hearts for her thoughtfulness and openness. We've had the chance to spend a bit of time getting to know each other over the past few months and I've enjoyed this process very much. I look forward to many more frank, open conversations where we provide each other support and chocolate when needed to get over the rough patches in life. Happy Birthday, Friend. Here's to many more and I can't wait to see pics of you in your purple bikini on some Caribbean beach.
Much love and gratitude to you for extending your friendship to me.
