I'm not sure that I have any one memory that is the "favorite". I think it's a culmination of things that settle on me when I think of you.

It's your joy in life itself, and your drive to accomplish things. It's your ability to focus on good things despite the bad that might come to you. Your self-discipline; your openness to others and the determination to see what's good in them. Others good fortune increases your own happiness, and you never hesitate to give a compliment. You are intelligent, and self-confident. I have never seen anyone with as many friends, and you keep up with them all.....amazing!! You are generally happy, and optimistic. You are adventurous. You are insightful. You use every moment to the fullest. The quality list could go on forever I think, and you are someone that I try to emulate.

I love looking back on talks with you. The times we laughed and cried together. I remember my first taste of sushi at the Happy Sumo with you. I remember your R.S. lessons. It's all those small things that go into a relationship with someone and the things that help you get insight into who they really are, that add up to a strong bond of friendship.

Happy birthday my dear friend! I love you so much. Here's to the next 40 years!!
