Heather Sundahl

I met you the summer of 2001 at Girl's Camp and felt like I was reuniting with a long lost pal. I have such fond memories of kayaking with you on that lake, racing Sande and Julie (Lisa Boyce was off preparing a devotional no doubt!). A month later we hung out at the Exponent Retreat on the Cape and made fools of ourselves singing "Saturday's Warrior" tunes. Only people as old as we are knows all the words to "Will I Wait for You" and only people as confidant as we are can take pride in that!

Over the years our paths have crossed and we've kept in touch and I have learned to really respect you as a friend and a woman of faith. You notice the small things about people and remember them. That makes people feel special. You face challenges with your head held high and are an example of strength.

Most recently we spent another Exponent retreat together. That was such a great car ride. You had us all in the palm of your hands with your stories of love lost and found. I have no doubt that we will continue this friendship, and I know I will continue to be blessed for having you in my life.

Happy birthday!!!!!

P.S. "Why Wally Kesler you oughtta be ashamed of yourself, I've given you the best years of my life...."
