Ok, so my Suzette moment is going to be a short one. I'd heard about Suzette's dedication to personal correspondence and will admit to being thoroughly impressed. But, I didn't really get the whole picture until Thanksgiving.

The week of Thanksgiving, a card arrived in the mail, with a picture on front of Suzette surrounded by nieces and nephews, each holding up something they were thankful for. Suzette was holding up boots. Pretty cool.

For one thing, that was the moment when I realized I'd inadvertently made the list. For another, I am a man who appreciates boots. So, for me it turned out to be a moment of recognition and connection, all due to her dedication to the personal touches and love for letter writing.

It might not seem like much, but those are the moments that mean the most to me and confirm, at least for me, why we all think Suzette rocks.
